Zaytoun Law Firm Helps Secure $10 Million Settlement in Outer Banks Power Outage Class Action; Community Meeting on Wed. 5/16/2018

Zaytoun Law Firm recently helped win a $10.35 million class-action settlement for victims of the power outage impacting Hatteras and Ocracoke Islands last summer.  The settlement was recently approved by the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina and has been generating media attention, including in this article by the Ocracoke Observer.

As stated in the article, Zaytoun Law Firm’s Managing Partner Robert Zaytoun, along with co-counsel Steve Lacy, will host a community meeting on Ocracoke Island at the Ocracoke Community Center from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 to answer any questions that community members may have about the settlement.
