We are honored to announced that the a federal jury in New Bern, N.C. on September 25, 2019 returned a unanimous verdict for our client in a police misconduct civil rights trial. The verdict has been reported and is believed to be the largest law enforcement civil rights jury verdict in North Carolina history. The jury found that Wake County Sheriff's deputies violated our client's rights by committing an unlawful search, unlawful arrest, excessive force, unjustified deadly force, and malicious prosecution, all arising from a traffic stop incident occurring in Apex, N.C. in July 2013. Zaytoun Law Firm wins Win $5 Million Jury Verdict In Car Crash Trial.

The law firm is proud to announce that on May 7, 2019, Robert Zaytoun, Matt Ballew, and John Taylor won a $5 million jury verdict in Cumberland County, N.C. for a man who was injured in a car crash caused by a falling ladder on the interstate. The impact forces from the crash caused the plaintiff to suffer a permanent brain injury and right eye blindness. Zaytoun, Ballew and Taylor presented the testimony of five different treating physicians to support the full extent of the young man's injuries to the jury. Lab Reporting Error Leads to $1.8 Million Settlement

The Zaytoun Law Firm of Raleigh, North Carolina reports a pre-suit $1,800,000 settlement of a dispute arising from a laboratory testing company reporting the wrong results to a customer (“Ms. A”). In 2009, Ms. A hired the lab to perform certain testing. The results Ms. A received indicated certain medical risks. Relying on these results, and in consultation with her healthcare providers, Ms. A elected to take prophylactic surgical action, including an immediate and irreversible surgery followed by a second such surgery in 2018.
