(“Ken”) McCotter, Jr. of New Bern, NC, the prestigious Chief Justice's Professionalism Award from the Chief Justice's Commission on Professionalism (CJCP). The Chief Justice's Professionalism Award is presented annually to an individual whose contributions have demonstrated the highest commitment to genuine professionalism and the highest standards of legal ethics. Robert Zaytoun Robert Zaytoun, a principal in the Raleigh's Zaytoun law Firm, gave a quarter of a million dollar donation to Campbell University School of Law. The gift will support the work of the Blanchard Community Law Clinic, which allows law students the opportunity to obtain real-world trial experience, according to the school’s announcement. On September 25, 2015, North Carolina Lawyers Weekly honored Zaytoun Law Firm principal Robert Zaytoun at the fifth annual Leaders in the Law awards ceremony.
